This post is all about new, cool stuff! Please leave a comment if you feel like it!
A) Credit cards shall no longer fill up your wallet! Enter "Coin"! To be honest, their promo video gave me a nerdgasm. Just watch!
If you wanna read all about how Coin raised $50,000 in 40 minutes in preorders, as well a Q&A about features and privacy, you can check out the latest TechCrunch article here. You can also preorder your Coin today here! By the way, Google isn't idle either ...

B) How do you take class and other notes? How do you organize TODO lists? Where do you store scanned documents? And how do you annotate them? How do you make sure that everything you want to get done is neatly digitized and easily accessible on your computer, tablet, and phone? For me, the answer is Evernote! Did I mention it's cross-platform too?
Evernote is not a "new" app. But it's still hot after 5 years and its popularity and functionality are rising! If you wanna try it, consider clicking on one of the two images (left or below). This way, we'll both get one month of Evernote Premium for free!

C) How many items have you stumbled upon a very interesting article or website while at work? You couldn't read it at the moment, and then forgot about it! Well, you could have "read it later" using Pocket! What is Pocket, you ask. Well, it's an Internet browser extension, a website, and an app. When you find cool stuff, you "save them to your Pocket" and then you can read them whenever you want! No more bookmarking and sending e-mails to yourselves! Funnily enough, Evernote offered to buy Pocket a few years ago, but Nate, its founder, thought the offer was too low (couple of million dollars). Well, looks like he was right to be honest!
The latest version, Pocket 5.0, was released a week ago for iOS and Android. It features "Highlights", an automated filter that finds the best content of each category in your Pocket, as well as "Preferences", will allows Pocket to automatically update the preferences of other apps, so you don't have to enter the details yourselves! Check out Android Authority's review of Pocket 5.0.
D) This last piece of awesomeness I'm really looking forward to! Tim Ferriss, the New York Times bestselling author of "The 4-Hour Work Week", "The 4-Hour Body", and "The 4-Hour Chef" is starting his own TV show! In this show, he will be learning, through experts, stuff like race car driving, parkour and break dancing, drums, how to start a business, etc. For each skill, he will show us "how to go from Zero to Hero in minimal time"!
Enjoy the extended preview I found through upwave. The show itself airs on Dec 1, 8pm ET, on HLN and then weekly every Sunday. Update: You can watch the show's premiere before it airs on TV here!

By the way, if you're interested in Tim Ferriss' take on learning new skills you can download the first chapter of his 4-Hour Chef audiobook here (for free and legally). The chapter is about learning in general, it's about cooking. Although I own the book and I have to say, it's an amazing cookbook as well!
That's it for today! Thanks for reading! Make sure you signup to be notified of new blog posts and other interesting updates!
